Board of Commissioners Meeting
April 29, 2010
Sunapee Town Offices

PRESENT: Theodore Gallup-Chairman, David Montambeault, Paul Manson, David Cain, Christopher Leonard.
Also present: Holly Leonard, David Bailey, Charles Smith, Jessie Levine, Tina Helm, Mark Kaplan, Donna Nashawaty, Peter Bianchi, Richard Lee, Joyce & Lee Bosse, Neil Cheseldine.


New London/Sunapee Joint Quarterly Meeting:  See joint quarterly meeting minutes.

Forms for Signing:
March 25, 2010 Meeting Minutes:  David M. made a motion to accept the minutes as printed, seconded by Christopher L., voted unanimously in favor, so declared by the Chairman.
March 2010 Sewer Purchase Journal:  David M. made a motion to accept the March sewer purchase journal as printed, seconded by Paul M., voted unanimously in favor, so declared by the Chairman.
March 2010 Water Purchase Journal:  David M. made a motion to accept the March water purchase journals as presented, seconded by David C., voted unanimously in favor, so declared by the Chairman.
1st Sewer Billing Warrant 2010:  David M. made a motion to accept the sewer user warrant as amended in the amount of, seconded by Paul M., voted unanimously in favor, so declared by the Chairman.
1st Water Billing Warrant 2010: David M. made a motion to accept the water rent collectors warrant as printed, seconded by David C., voted unanimously in favor, so declared by the Chairman.

Water Treatment Highlights:  Dave B. reported that the water line is in from Chase Street to Main Street and that it will be connected with a new hydrant on Chase Street. There was some discussion regarding hydrants.
Dave B. reported that there had been a water main break near David C.’s house that had been caused by hydrant flushing.
Dave B. reported that another filter would be cleaned at Harbor Hill next week and that summer water lines would be turned on before the 15th of May.
Dave B. reported that Henry C. has been doing leak detection for the department. There was some discussion regarding having him check the concrete tank by pressurizing the line from the tank and testing for leaks.

Old & New Business:  Dave B. reported that the water line from Winn Hill has been repaired from the curb stop to the fence line but not repaired in entirety. Dave B. reported that Henry C. had checked the line and that he did not think that it was still leaking. There was much discussion regarding the issue.
David M. made a motion to destroy meeting tapes after three years, seconded by Paul M., after some discussion regarding if counsel needs to be consulted, voted unanimously in favor, so declared by the Chairman.
Dave B. reported that he will be in Alaska on the 27th of May, the Commission decided to hold the next meeting on May 20th.

7:08 p.m. Christopher L. made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Paul M., voted unanimously in the affirmative, so declared by the Chairman.
